The kitchen is the heart of the home. Decorating your kitchen can be just as fun as any other room in your home; however, in the kitchen, you will have to “spice” things up with the paint that you choose. Kitchen paint colors no longer have to be dull and boring; they can be bright and cheerful. Kitchen paint should reflect your personality just like with any other room color or decorating items in your home.

Making your kitchen stand out will be easier that what you think. You will first have to consider the different options that are available nowadays in kitchen paint. Once you have done this, turning your kitchen from drab to fabulous, will be easy. Here are a few pointers to help get you started.

3.         Choose a shade that will "spice" up the kitchen.     Kitchen′s no longer have to be boring and drab.   Don′t be afraid to make your kitchen fabulous by applying a strong shade of color.   Yellows, Reds, Grays, Blues and Violets are all trendy colors for 2009.   This doesn′t necessarily mean that you have to have the most vibrant shade of red on the walls.   You can opt for a less dramatic burgundy.   Color will add plenty of spice to the kitchen.
